We advise Gulf capital on direct investments abroad.

We support selected technology, real-estate and energy mandates — from opportunity screening and commercial due diligence, through regulatory coordination, to post-investment governance.

Capabilities

In detail →

A

Outbound Investment Advisory

Opportunity screening, market mapping and evaluation. Counterparty introductions.

B

Transaction Advisory & Due Diligence

Commercial due diligence, valuation support, and one consolidated commercial view across advisers and jurisdictions.

C

Regulatory Coordination

Foreign investment screening workstreams — CFIUS, EU FDI, the UK NSIA, China's negative list — run with the client's appointed advisers.

D

Post-Investment Governance

Board or observer appointments, reporting, and oversight against the case agreed at entry.

What we take on

We work only where we have relevant transaction and on-the-ground experience.

That rule is the reason we decline more enquiries than we accept. Where a market or a sector falls outside it, we say so in the first conversation rather than the fourth.

Direct, not intermediated

Equity in operating businesses and real assets — acquisitions, growth positions, joint ventures and co-investment alongside a lead. Not funds, not listed securities, not structured products.

Three sectors

Technology, real estate and energy. Each is a sector where the regulatory regime and the operating partner decide the outcome as much as the price does.

Governance from entry

We prefer positions that carry board or observer rights, because the work that protects the investment happens after completion rather than before it.

Approach

Stages, decision points and fees →

A mandate may involve up to four stages. Each pre-completion stage ends at a decision point at which you may choose not to authorise the next one.

01

Mandate

What you are trying to own, and what you will not accept in order to own it. Agreed in writing.

02

Ground

Site visits, management meetings and commercial diligence, reconciled into one view.

03

Structure

Deal and approval path worked together with your appointed counsel. May overlap with 02.

04

Govern

Begins only after completion, under a separate engagement.

Independence

No financial product sales. No seller- or third-party-paid referral fees. No fees contingent on completion.

Fees for each authorised stage are agreed in advance and do not depend on whether the transaction completes. Third-party costs are passed through without mark-up. The treatment of any mid-stage termination is set out in the engagement letter.

The activities that fall outside our mandate are listed in full under Capabilities.
